This durable trowel can be used for everything. I built this trowel to be used on a potting bench or outdoors. The wide blade holds a lot of soil and the pointed shape allows you to use it in the field. The industrial diamond plate steel, subtle patina and refined hardwood handle give it a modern flair. American Black Walnut is used for the handle. Dimensions are approx. 12″ long by 4″ wide.
"Durable and beautifully hand crafted. You almost don't want to use them because they are so pretty! I love that they are made in the USA." -Claire K.
Handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana by traditional blacksmith Tuli Fisher. These garden tools are an example practical blacksmithing and fine American Craft. Hand forged steel set into a hand turned Black Walnut handle makes this tool the ideal gift for the discriminating gardener, wedding couple, or anyone (that includes you!) who has an eye for high-quality traditional crafts and a passion
I build each tool individually using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Steel is heated in the forge and then shaped over the anvil by hand with hammer and tongs. I complete all the joinery using solid steel rivets. And, each tool is set into its own hand turned handle creating a long-lasting garden tool with no welds. American Black Walnut is used for handles. The tight grain of this strong hardwood makes it very durable. Best of all, it just feels good in your hand.
